Mr. Harikishan Eppanapally Mr. Eppanapally is an entrepreneur and a philanthropist with a passion for education, healthcare and the environment. His lifelong mission has been to transform and establish a peaceful society for harmonious living.
With over 25 years of experience as a financial services professional, Mr. Eppanapally has been involved in directing and managing global technology initiatives including strategic planning, architecture, design, development and deployment. He is currently serving as a Vice-President of Global InfoTech division at Bank of New York Mellon.
Mr. Eppanapally is the Chairman of the board for Quibble Genomics Institute, Inc. (QuibbleMD.com), focused to bring a revolution in consumer genomics, personalized medicine, and population health. Quibble specializes in human genome modeling, analysis and visualization based on Unity3D gaming technology.
Mr. Eppanapally is a co-founder of Virtual Reality Minds, Inc. (VRMinds.com), developed a technology platform for setting up multi-channel interactive TV broadcast networks to watch in normal and Virtual Reality modes.
Mr. Eppanapally is the Chairman of the board for the CIC Group, Inc., a management consulting and advisory firm for mergers and acquisitions. He has a keen interest in investing and promoting education, healthcare and energy sectors.
Mr. Eppanapally received his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, and M.S. in Computer and Information Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey. Executive Program in General Management (EPGM) – Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – Sloan School of Management.
Mr. Eppanapally is the founding Chairman of the Eppanapally Charitable Foundation (ECF) www.Eppanapally.org, with a mission to support organizations and people who are selflessly involved in serving society to instill human values and improve the lives of people educationally, morally and socially to establish a peaceful society for harmonious living. Through this family foundation,
Mr. Eppanapally funded to rebuild the Government High School at which he studied, now named after him as ‘Harikishan Eppanapally Zilla Parishad High School”, he also built a High School for 500 Tribal children in rural India, built a community center with 1000 capacity, renovated two 12th and 14th Century temples, and provided scholarships and teaching aids to many deserving students and schools. The ECF also recognized several distinguished personalities with the “Eppanapally” award and with the “Shanti Sree” global peace honor.
Mr. Eppanapally is the founding board member and Vice-President of Financial Policy Council (FPC) www.FinancialPolicyCouncil.org. The FPC is a policy think tank whose mission is to formulate and promote sound fiscal policies based on the principles of free enterprise and wealth creation, to promote the ideas and principles of the American Founding Fathers. The primary focus is to bridge the gap between Wall Street, Main Street and Washington.
Mr. Eppanapally is the founding president and Chairman of the board for Lead India 2020 Foundation, Inc. www.Li2020.org, a social transformation organization promoted by the former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to educate, inspire and transform 540 Million youth of India into responsible citizens to develop the nation.
Mr. Eppanapally was the founding President of VT Seva, (www.VTSeva.org) Volunteering Together for Service, a global nonprofit organization with over 100,000 volunteers dedicated to providing education to tribal and blind children, cancer screening for rural women and children, and disaster relief during floods/tsunamis and earth quakes. VT Seva also promotes awareness for protecting the environment by planting trees and reducing the use of plastics.
Mr. Eppanapally has been a strong advocate for Indian Americans to run for elected offices at various levels and to take active role in American politics to protect the interests of Indian American community in the US. He was considered by the GOP to run for US Congress from New Jersey in 2014.
He is married to Dr. Shanti Sree, a Pain Management physician. They have a daughter, Pooja Jyoti and a Son, Vamshi Krishna. Pooja is into investment banking a graduate of Business and Political Economy (BPE) from NYU Stern Business School. Vamshi Krishna is currently a senior in Livingston High School, NJ
